I mean, I think that's highly possible.
And not knowing Vladdy, you know, outside of just a couple of really short conversations I've had with him, that could be part of the calculus.
That would explain John Snyder's comments, right?
That's why you would say something like that is because you see it as adding...
taking away for or possibly hurting the situation or Vladdy somehow more than it would help him to move him down.
And maybe that's a calculation they're making now.
Do I know if that's based in any sort of conversation or anything that's ever happened?
No.
But that would explain the way it is being handled at this point.
uh Shane I've spent a lot of time playing against him and and I was I was on the twins when he was coming up with Cleveland and it was a it was really really frustrating that they found another Corey Kluber as soon as Corey Kluber left um it seems to always be happening over there in Cleveland so uh he he's always been able to spin the ball that was apparent from the moment that he got up he had this
A big curveball and this wipeout slider, which he continues to have.
And he had a little bit more zip on the fastball being 94-95 at that time.
But he's always really heavily relied on those breaking balls.
