Now, it was at the Red Lion Inn that she called her parents, told them that she was ready to come home.

I think that makes a lot of sense.

And her mother recalling these conversations actually says on record, quote,

She was very scared.

She wasn't making any sense to me and was acting paranoid.

She said she was at some type of ceremony where they blew smoke in her face.

She said someone was after her and then she just stopped talking."

This I think is a really big break in the case.

that offers some insight into otherwise the void of knowledge as to what preceded this flight of paranoia and this disappearance to a nearby neighbor or maybe far away neighbor.

Her parents then covered her hotel stay as she made travel arrangements to come home.

What made things difficult was the fact that she had lost all of her personal paperwork, her identification, anything necessary to essentially buy trips, a plane ticket, whatever back home.

So as such, her mom had a copy of these things and decided to fax the paperwork needed to obtain a new ID to a nearby copy center.

Walters then went to pick up the paperwork on November 14th,

And I believe looking at some of the reports, you know, people at the copy center seem to think that she was a little on edge, kind of looking out the window, looking over her shoulder.

But it's hard to say, you know, are these colored by revelations yet to come?

You know, did they notice this at the time or are they is this being filled in by the fact that they are making these reports after they know she disappeared?

Right.

Either way, it does fit whatever it is she's feeling at this time.

You know, they said she was kind of acting odd but I guess they didn't really think too much of it other than maybe thinking that she was paranoid.
