And I have no connection to the White Sox, really.

I grew up a Cubs fan.

So, you know, they weren't like my favorite team.

But even I watched last season and I was like, this is terrible for baseball.

It's terrible for the city of Chicago.

Like, get it together.

And holy crap, they got it together.

The culture shift that happened, I think, is the coolest part to me.

You've got this young core of guys who have made everybody believe in Southside baseball again.

And they have energized them about a team that was dead in the

water last year they were the laughing stock of the league for a couple years.

And I think I think really one of the moments that stood out to me and I'm going to interview him today.

But Miguel Vargas when he gave that speech when he was named an all star in the locker in the clubhouse and he's like crying and he's like you guys I lost it.

I couldn't find joy in baseball anymore and I didn't think you could ever make me happy.

But this team changed my mind.

And, of course, we know it's easy to say that when you're having a breakout season, but everybody in that clubhouse says it, right?

This team came in, and they're like, no, no, no, no, no.

These young guys are still here.

We've got youth.

We've got talent.
