Yeah, man.

My pops played football.

He played at South Carolina State.

And I remember being a kid just going to all the games.

Not going to his games, but he'll bring me back to the games.

You know what I'm saying?

Of course, playing Pop won the ball.

Growing up in Jacksonville, I was in Jacksonville, Florida at the time.

And then just always been around the game.

That's what it was.

And at a high school, I had two offers.

Went to Hampton University, went to South Carolina State.

I chose to go to Hampton because they had an air raid.

And then, like, going there, I was like, man, I love my HBCUs.

It's a beautiful thing.

I love our people.

But, man, I wanted something bigger for myself.

So, you know what I mean?

I went to Williams-Brice Stadium, University of South Carolina.

And I went there with a shooting tie on.
