Absolutely.
I think it's important that parents have the ability to engage with like positive parenting programmes where they can get management tools for how to deal with, you know, challenging behaviour because dealing with young people can be challenging.
Sometimes I know that I deal with fifty on a daily basis.
And and w what that does is it challenges us as the adults in the room.
But we have to keep come the stay firm and and keep coming up with the solutions and give young people avenues to go down rather than writing them off and naming them all criminals before they're even eighteen.
I don't think that's a fair thing to do.
Well, I think for young people they need to know that somebody's on their side.
E even when they've done the most awful things, they need to know that somebody believes in them.
And I think that in order to, you know, reduce youth crime we really need to invest in these evidence led interventions that strengthen young people and strengthen the family unit rather than facturing it.
So
We we really need to be redirecting resources towards alien intervention, family therapies, community support systems, you club.
all of these different things that build young people up.
So putting that scaffolding around young people during them tricky years of adolescence is crucially what works.
And when a young person has somebody consistently working with them and and being informed when they're dealing with them and and listening to the message that they're giving us, you know I'm in pain and then working with them through that process, that works.
It's it's it's resource heavy, it's tricky, it takes time.
But
So understanding the effect of what trauma um has on an individual, whether it's a young person or whether it's an adult.
So understanding for example, if you and I were walking down the street and I banged off you accidentally, David, I might go, Oh, sorry about that and and keep walking, you might go okay.
But for somebody who's in a heightened level of stress, um if you bang off them, they might turn around and answer you much more aggressively.
