So Andrew, it's great to have you on the show.
First off, please can you introduce yourself and I suppose as much as you can tell us about your institution.
So let's get straight into it.
In your article um in the paper y in in the collection, you talk about the almost sort of simultaneous rise of multi specificity in antibody design and also the shift in design approaches towards AI and ML based approaches.
Um would you say this was a sort of serendipitous coincidence, or is there a case to be made for one driving the other?
Excellent.
So you you mentioned it right at the end there, but the one of the kind of key steps that you um refer to as being sort of essential to that development pathway right at the beginning is the establishment of a really good candidate drug target profile, the C D T C D P.
Um can you briefly explain what this is and and give us an insight into how AI can help with that process?

And and what are kind of some of the current limitations of AI in this uh this space and this application, um, particularly in establishing that C D D T B.

Um and then so sort of turning to more in depth structural aspects of smart antibody design.
Um how are AI tools used to help with things like binding?
Um and again, what are the limitations of there?

So you've talked about that kind of the availability of some of the data and uh despite the fact that, you know, techniques got more advanced and we've got these models now, there is still kind of a maybe a little bit of a lag in terms of the impact that's having on the amount of information available in the protein data bank about these antibodies and how they how they bind to to different epitopes, but then also um that
changing fluid state that is the reality of proteins and how they are in in in the body.
