So there was a real offensive against the Israelis to hold up that MOU.
But then Marco Rubio goes to the region.
He does a thing with the GCC and then he goes and he negotiates this deal between Israel and the Lebanese government.
that really contradicts the MOU.
The MOU says that Israel has to leave Lebanese territory.
It doesn't use that exact language to talk about Lebanon's sovereignty, but it was well understood what it meant.
But the MOU then says, no, sorry, the Israeli-Lebanese government that Rubio is mediating says, no, Israel will leave once Hezbollah has been disarmed.
Disarming Hezbollah will either require a massive war or a civil war.
It's just not something that can be achieved that easily.
But that also then changes the timeframe fundamentally.
