She made the putts.

She had a phenomenal short game.

And the thing that kind of drives me crazy from being on site for the two days that I was down there,

is that there's so much undulation on these big white greens that are down there and these pins are tucked up on ridges on tiny little plateaus and stuff and that was completely washed out all the shot making that showed us how nelly ended up winning at 18 under par was kind of just gone because of of the product and everything else that goes around this but man

She hit fairways when she needed to.

She hit so many damn greens.

And yes, we can sit here and jump up and down and say, wow, Nellie still has a balky putter.

But like when you're watching every single one of Nellie's putts, like she makes a hell of a lot of them.

And it's really cool.

This moment is it should be celebrated for what she accomplished here.

She's played awesome golf from start to finish.

That's kind of where I'm at big.

Not only a mental journey, but I think how she... We talked about this in the preview, how she's going about setting her schedule up completely different.

And that might not always go along with everybody that...

whether that's sponsor obligations or tour obligations or anything else, she is so locked in on these majors.

She knows exactly the bugaboo that like the U S women's open has had for her.

She's already thinking about that.

This was just step one of the season to get to where she needs to be.

And hasn't been at all.

Like, I'm sure she's mad as hell that she got beat twice, right?
