I never wanted to be a politician, but I wanted to fight for the people of my community and and for the last twenty years that's what it's been about is showing up and trying to deliver for my constituents.
And and I'm upset that, you know, we're still in this position today that, you know, we're not doing the things that we should be doing for everyday people and and for me it's
It's not about patting our ourselves on the back.
It's about delivering for people that need real uh things f you know done for them.
And and politicians should be upset with themselves if they haven't d delivered.
And and that's what is the the issue right now is that people it's not about stepping stones and and moving on.
It's about delivering for people in this country that really need help.
And we're not
Doing that and and we need to start doing that.
We're definitely seeing people are having bi remorse now.
I mean, with the tariffs here in Maine, um, you know, concern about uh lumber uh prices and things like that, uh parts, uh farmers t trying to get um their their fertilizer out of Canada.
Um all those things are you know becoming really problematic.
And then um
You know, the the issue of uh
You know, people trying to
you know, be able to get like you said, other other things that uh at the uh tourism and things like that here in Maine is is way down.
Uh so those are all challenges and then just uh
uh food prices and things like that.
So you're seeing a lot of problems there, but then with the big bogus bill that they passed, you know, we're gonna see a lot of issues here with our uh hospitals and with our nursing homes.
Uh that's gonna be a real problem.
