Probably slept through that one.
But, uh, no, it's, uh, it's sad that he passed, but, uh, he was a believer and, uh, he did, uh, witness.
I, I've heard his, uh, testimony before.
And, uh,
Seemed like he always did pretty clean stuff.
Some of his movies are a little on the violent side, but men are supposed to be violent and dangerous, so there's nothing wrong with that.
Nope.
All right, so our Bible verse tonight will be in 2 Corinthians.
Let me see if I can pull it up here to the stage.
2 Corinthians 4, 16 through 18.
We'll be reading the ESV version.
So we do not lose heart, though our outer self is wasting away.
Our inner self is being renewed day by day for this light momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison as we look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen.
For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
When we read these scriptures, we're being reminded that as our bodies will continue to degrade and go down, and I'm feeling it more and more every day, that the afflictions that we are experiencing, the pains, the aches, the illnesses, the diseases, those things are light and momentary because in the full expanse of all eternity that we have to spend with God,
This is the shortest part of our life, and we need to keep our focus on the eternal and not the terrestrial, the transient things of right now.
I mean, we need to take care of our families.
We need to do witness.
We need to share our testimonies.
