He said, don't do it.
He said, deer season's coming in.
He said, people with tracking dogs need jobs.
They need to make money.
And I was like, okay.
So the first, the first time I took it out and pulled the trigger on a deer, I shot it.
It took off.
It was hit good.
I thought, and man, we looked for over an hour trying to find this deer, no blood, no nothing.
And just could not find it.
So,
the other guy that was with me is he's a ex army guy.
He said, well, it looks like this army guys got to teach you air force guys how to shoot.
I'm like, no, I'm going back.
I'm going to pull out the old tracking skills.
So I tracked toe prints from that deer up through the woods.
And, uh, I kind of lost it a little bit and started back long story short.
The last time I went looking, I actually found it and I found zero blood, but,
it was dead.
I got it.
