That was the first thing that I noticed in Hartford was he's very personable, very good with the communication skills and the that side of the game of kind of the newer game of hockey.

So I think it was it was good to come in and have a familiar face that I knew.

I think just both knowing what we can do, if we're both both strong players defensively and I think if we we talk together we'll have good breakouts and just be able to to shut down the other team and and contribute in the defensive way.

I don't know if I wanna look as far as mid season end of the season.

I think I just wanna focus on night one, being able to to be in the lineup and and contribute in in the ways that I know I can.

So I think I try to take it in smaller increments than half the season end of the season.

Um but I think the last game was good for me of just getting my toes getting my feet under me and and just understanding what what the coaches need for me.

solid two way defender.

I think I can skate well and I think I I use my physicality as an asset of mine, but I can help out on the PK.

I can move pucks to the forwards and just be a consistent defender that people can count on.

Chuck's been awesome.

So obviously I had him in Hartford and and we got along really well.

So I think the way that he communicates with his players is very upfront and he's clear in what he wants, and it's it's a very personable person, personable coach who you can understand and kind of you want to play for a guy like that.

Of in Hartford, we had a good year and it was exciting.

And then obviously, when the call came this summer that I got moved to Edmonton, he gave me a shout a couple days later.

So it's nice just

To be able to touch base and have a familiar face in the room.
