They murder, whip, kidnap and threaten black voters, teachers, ministers.

So this is a targeted violence.

And what's the worst part about this is it works.

Terror campaigns can work and it works here.

And this is when we see the rise of the Ku Klux Klan, right?

That's right.

So we see these veterans.

These are Confederate veterans that create terrorist organizations.

And they are the Ku Klux Klan, the White League, Red Shirts.

And, you know, where do you see those?

Well, you see the best place to see them is Gone with the Wind or these other movies that come in in the 20th century.

And that they are seen as a positive thing.

So these Ku Klux Klan are the ones that save white people.

So this idea of white supremacy is what they're going after and white political power.

And they are seen as a positive among the white people of the South for ensuring white dominance at a time where you have free black people.
