His movement on the field, when the opposition is in possession, Messi's not expected to be a player that's involved in pressing and winning second balls and all of that.
They respect him for what he gives them at the attacking half of the field.
So they worked their tails off for him, but he deserves that.
He's had an unbelievable career, and he's a game winner, as we saw today.
He misses a penalty kick in the first half, and then he scores the tying goal in the closing minutes and positions Argentina to win the game.
The comeback today was tremendous, and Messi played a big role in that.
Yeah, he's a little bit dominant physically, like I'd say LeBron is in the NBA.
LeBron's dominant with his physical qualities as well as his technical qualities.
But Holland knows what he's about.
He gets in the right spots in the penalty area to score goals.
He's obviously done it in this World Cup with a team that's not as highly regarded as Argentina or England.
He's simply outstanding and his physical qualities are terrific.
And mentally, he understands what he needs to do to get goals.
Well, we probably could use a playmaker, a type of player like Messi.
And at times, I think we felt that Pulisic could possibly play that role.
And obviously, having a more experienced goalkeeper would help.
So we continue to battle to try to be among the elite countries in the world.
But it's terrific.
It's challenging.
