And I think, you know, we were able to find some, you know, reasonably good outcomes given the situation.

I was actually in New Jersey with Taylor as well, and we traded him in my first year there.

And he was obviously at that point, well, he still is a great player.

And it just didn't really line up with where we were as a team because we were still kind of rebuilding.

So fortunately, I got to stay there for a while.

He's yeah, he's very, very good sports exec.

But, you know, fast forward to last year and it was it was a shame because, you know, Taylor, you know, I always I was disappointed we had to let him go, even though I thought, you know, where we were as a team was understandable.

But fast forward to last year and, you know, we're always looking for guys who we think can bring someone to the table.

I think there was really a perception within our team that, you know, Taylor's game would fit well with the way the Hurricanes play.

Right.

And, you know, he's just, you know, I don't need to tell your listeners this, but, like, great skater, you know, good hockey sense, knows how to find pucks.

And, you know, he came in and just right away the chances started, even though the points took a little longer.

And this year Rod put him together with Logan Stankoven and Jackson Blake, who's Jason Blake's son, and they just clicked.
