If you lost the shootout and you're the last guy to score, you would have to grow a mustache for a month.

And that was awesome.

And we'd do all this crazy, all these crazy games that we'd work on shootouts literally every day.

And we were pretty good at them, but we, we would, that would be part of the practice.

Yeah.

Cause you see kind of like, you see what works, what doesn't, how you can throw it off.

And like a lot of the good players, like they'll go up to the goalie after and be like, Hey, what'd you see from me?

Like what?

Did I throw you off with that first kick move where I tried to freeze you?

The goalie might be like, no, your big freeze wasn't big enough for me to bite on.

I knew you weren't going to shoot it.

So the more you can get reps and the more you can talk, and even with Kyle Dubas being an analytics guy and all those, there's probably like 50 guys in the Penguins organization.

One guy should be literally –

copying what the best shootout guys are doing in the league from, you know, Zegras, all those guys.

Does that factor in?

When I played, you would get, like, we'd walk in the dressing room and there'd be all the systems all over the boards.
