So Chaos by Tom O'Neill.
He's this journalist.
He spent 20 years looking at the Charles Manson case, right?
Now, this is proper journalism.
And basically, through all the evidence he picked out, he found a very, very plausible theory that the Manson murders, it was actually the FBI behind it and Manson was working for the FBI and they were trying to frame the Black Panthers.
The Black Panthers at that time were finding solidarity with white working-class communities, and then the FBI said, no fucking way, not class solidarity.
And then it was like, it went wrong, but they wanted it to appear like the Black Panthers were going to the Hollywood Hills and killing rich white people.
Because they wrote pig on the door in Sharon Tate's blood, but pig at that time would only have been an African-American vernacular word.
That's why the CIA helped the IRA smuggle guns.
The IRA used to get a lot of guns into Ireland from America, right?
And you're kind of going, how the fuck did that happen?
And then you find out later the CIA were helping him.
And it's like, why the fuck would the CIA help the IRA bring guns in?
That doesn't make sense.
