The U.S. military intercepted Russian and Chinese bombers in international airspace off of the coast of Alaska yesterday. Officials say two Russian and two Chinese fighter jets were detected, tracked, and intercepted. The U.S. official says that this is the first time Russian and Chinese aircraft have jointly entered the area. However, NORAD notes that the activity is not seen as a threat.
