I've always had a perspective on life.
I love the game of cricket, but the life outside of cricket's been more important, if anything, than the game itself in a lot of respects.
I'm glad we can enjoy this one final journey and hopefully, you know, I've got the second half of my life to live with them now.
It was funny, my daughter even today, she was like, Daddy, is your last day?
I was like, yes, my last day, honey.
She was like, yeah, you gave me a hug.
I was like, why are you so happy?
And she goes, you get to spend more time with us now.
She actually said that, so I'm really excited.
I gave her a big hug and I'm like, yes, honey, I do.
Definitely got a bit too tight.
Five down, you know you're only a couple of wickets away.
You never count your chickens in cricket, Howie.
You know this.
You never get too far ahead of yourself.
Even I was like, oh, come on.
We've got a little partnership there.
There's a few dicey runs going on there at the end, a little bit of pressure.
But definitely on a wearing wicket, it was turning, going up and down.
We got the job done in the end, though.
