I think Sean Marshall got eaten by moths.
And so these things can happen.
But playing for Australia, that's what I'll always hold close to my heart.
I mean, these guys have done it.
The dream feels so far away at times, especially when you're younger, especially when I came to the New South Wales squad.
I saw how good the players were, how good the batsmen were in particular.
I was like, I'm not sure if I'm up to this level.
And you finally crack that level, and then you look at the next level, you look at Michael Clarke, I remember just... Even every time he came to the SCG or played for New South Wales, he scored 100.
I'm like, I can't score 100 every time I play, like, first-class cricket.
How good is this guy?
It always seems so far away, and then when you finally get there...
You're like, how good's this?
And you're like, wait a minute, I want to keep doing this.
There's so many stages to it.
And then when you reflect on it at the end of your career, you just think how lucky we are just to play one game, let alone being able to do it for about 15 years.
It was tough.
