F2 is hard, despite the fact that, you know, we obviously have our huge issues with it.

And part of the reason we have issues with it is also part of what makes it hard.

It's just that it's so particular in certain ways.

But I do think that maybe the general level of the preparedness of a driver that comes in, of the sort of the tunnel that they've been through to end up there in terms of the molding of the driver is maybe the most focused and sharp it's ever been in a way.

It feels also like the existing F2 experience, specifically F2 experience.

It used to be that existing GP2 experience was the end-all, be-all in GP2.

But now it does not feel like that at all.

We're getting rookie champions all the time, but all of those rookie champions aren't somebody you grabbed from Super Formula or IndyCar.

They are guys who have followed the ladder and who have done F3 and already got their first championship.

So he should be more on top of it.

But he's also kind of a guy who you feel...

you have to wonder he's come over too late or he's too specialized or anything like that.

It would probably be better for the purity of the experiment if his teammate was a Rafa Kamara, a Niko Tsolov, or even one of the guys who don't have that big name or big reputation, but are guys who are proven at the F2 level as to have, I mean, a Josh Jerkson or et cetera, et cetera, that kind of thing.
