And what happened was, within minutes of the confrontation and the phone call, he's texting and calling Maggie and Paul and asking them to come home that night.

No one is going to find a financial verdict against him when he's just gone through this loss of his wife and son.
And then the CFO stopped asking about that missing money and didn't ask for it for a matter of months.

He was able to raise that money and create enough subterfuge to call off the dogs for a little while.
