I live in District Nine and uh I thought I was going to speak later.
Um but um I'm here to request that amendments to
Carve back money.
out of the the police budget and into social services in general should be approved because that's a way better use of money.
It's a lot less expensive and morally correct to spend money on prevention, on helping our community, serving us and not policing.
And
And again, in light of the police department not being able to handle a seventeen year old, it's clear that we need to invest in preventative and supportive service.
