And my next question is on the summer youth employment program.

This program, I believe you all have shared that we'll be eliminating the city portion to the city county youth employment program.

Colleagues, I do want to highlight that earlier this year, we adopted a resolution unanimously that asked for the city to strengthen our youth programs and specifically called out that particular program in partnership with the county.

So I'm curious if staff can share more or provide context as to why we are eliminating the city participation in the youth program.

Yeah, I would just appreciate a conversation on that and particularly understanding how many students have been served with the program.

And if the city pulls out half a million from what I saw, what is that?

Like how many students will be able to participate for next summer?

It's a potential city partnership agreement with a proposed hotel conference center development in Del Valle.

Wanted to be sure we had time as a dais for us to have a conversation, to answer any questions you may have about the proposal, and also to share why I believe that this is a Del Valle strong proposal that is of great significance to our Del Valle community.
