One thing that's interesting to know about the Watts is if you do talk to Chris, especially after he's in prison, they have to control everything.
And every single conversation with Chris, she would have to immediately call the Watts family and tell them every single thing they talked about on the phone.
When I started sending questions to Chris and Chris,
Things started changing and shifting and we kind of were starting to feel, you know, find out that this is not exactly what happened.
And he was giving out quite a bit of information.
They were uncomfortable with that.
And so they made sure that that relationship ended.
How did their relationship kind of come about?
She was writing him letters and she had talked to the family and got to know them that way.
She had become close with the Watts.
She'd actually gone out to visit them in North Carolina.
There's pictures of them all together.
and she started a friendship with the Watts.
And then through that, her and Chris developed a relationship.
