I went to the hospital last year.

Before I disputed, I wasn't aware what disputed meant because I was new to finances.

And so I was like, okay, now I remember what that was for.

And so I was wondering if there was a possibility that I might be able to settle that or if that would hurt my credit more or if I should just try to outright pay it.

I believe so, yes.

I just discovered it on my Credit Karma, so I was trying to see where I was at, and I had no clue it was even there.

I don't right now.

So right now I have my $1,000 emergency fund, and then I have about $500 extra in cash that I've added to that that I'm just kind of slowly building up.

So I have about $500 on that right now.

It's, you know, horrible being on the step with the debt that I have.

But I finally have like a big chunk because I just had a recent pay raise.

That's why I was able to pay off so much debt that I paid off in 10 months.

How much?

Yeah.

About $17,000, and I'm currently doing a program for the field that I'm in through the state, so they paid off $30,000 of my student loans.

So, because I just became a nurse practitioner, so I stupidly, before I went through financial peace, I fell into that trap of taking out all the student loans.
