The courage to get the first pick that counts.

There are so many people hoping for pick number one.

Obviously has not transpired, and they will be drafting third later next month as well.

But a lot of commentary, people just furious at the current state right now.

People renouncing their Blue Jays fandom because the Maple Leafs have won the draft lottery coming in the inbox here, 650-650.

Yeah, and look, this is still going to be part of the process here of getting multiple strong players into the organization.

It doesn't just start now.

It continues.

You need the next drafts to go your way.

If you go to San Jose, who just won the draft lottery, they ended up picking Will Smith fourth.

before they selected Macklin-Celebrini first.

Then they get Misa.

Now they've gotten the second overall pick as well.

So this is just part of an ongoing process.
