A friend of mine who was working, she called me up and she said, there's been an accident at the mill.
My husband was working, and so I called him and I said, are you okay?
And he said, yes.
He said, it's not good.
Nobody was hurt, and we all praised God a little bit.
And yeah, I came home that night, and I remember thinking, you know, thank you that everyone's okay, but now I've got to figure out what I'm going to do with the rest of my life.
I loved that place.
I'm the person that goes to work every day happy because I love my job.
So to see it be a shell of nothing, you want something there.
Jay wouldn't be Jay without the paper mill that we had.
You don't want to see Jay just be nothing.
Maybe we understand the workings of the industry and know that it's got to come from somewhere.

I mean, it's like electricity.

You know, somehow it's got to be made.
