I can want something without immediately chasing it.
I can recognize an idea without turning it into another task.
I can feel the excitement of a fresh start while still giving life.

And honestly,
That's uncomfortable, especially in a month that seems to be shouting at everyone to go, go, go.
But perhaps that discomfort is exactly where the lesson is.
Maybe the point isn't to resist the energy of the month.
And it isn't to abandon my own strategy either.
Maybe the point is to experience both at the same time.
to allow the energy of a new beginning to awaken something inside me while still trusting that I don't have to force every new beginning into existence.
And now it's time to talk about reflectors.
Reflectors don't have a consistent energy type of their own, in the way the other four human design types do, which makes their experience especially connected to the people, places, and environments around them.
They tend to sample and reflect what is happening in their surroundings, so instead of experiencing an energy in isolation, they often experience it through the energy of the people they are with and the atmosphere they are immersed in.
This is why the same month can feel completely
Completely different for two reflectors, even when they are living through exactly the same collective energy.
So when we're talking about a one energy month, a reflector's experience of that energy can depend heavily on their environment, the people they're spending time with, the conversations they're having, the places they're moving through, and even the lunar cycle influencing their experience from day to day.
A one month carries themes of beginnings, independence, movement, initiative, and fresh starts.
But a reflector doesn't necessarily need to express those themes by constantly starting something new or pushing themselves forward.
If you're a reflector, September can therefore be less about trying to embody the energy of a one-month in the same way everyone else might.
