But even more importantly, he green-lighted scientists in the United States that were cooperating via email with that lab, and they would not have been able to get instrumentation and all of that support if it hadn't been for him.
And so that was the key to him, that he had to keep that narrative quiet, because if he did not, somebody was going to say,
This is so staggering that who's going to police the police?
This man is telling us all the ways to fight COVID, and yet he was at the center of its birth in some sense in a foreign country.
And so then how that developed, then he appointed that Lancet.
He got all of his friends.
He thought, well, you know what?
The most respected journal is Lancet, and Peter's going to go head a team and go over to COVID.
The Chinese wouldn't even meet with him unless they told the line.
They came out and said it was not from the lab.
And even they destroyed the reputation of Lancet.
Then they exposed them all that it was all set up.
And when it was all said and done,
It was all weaponized, and that fed into the Biden administration, and that became a key campaign talking point.
