Africans need to invest.

There are deals to be done and business to be won.

I mean, they hated uh the Chavez regime, they hated the Maduro regime.

It was a horrible mismanagement of the country, which is why this is necessary in the first place.

I mean, Venezuela should be one of the most prosperous, secure countries on the planet, and historically it was one of the wealthiest in the Western hemisphere.

And unfortunately, given uh the wages of socialism, if you will, you know, that that was largely squandered.

This can start to restore.

restore that prosperity.

But I do agree it does need to come with political liberalisation as well.
