You can, you know, speak on stage.

You can raise your babies.

You have freedom of choice.

And as much as you probably were told, oh, you can do anything as you, you know,

You can be anything, money diarist.

but I really don't think that's the narrative that you grew up with.

What was the expectation?

Like you said before, I was too much.

I became kind of like an alien and that obviously probably pushed you to accept things like that scholarship in Germany.

You were like, I need to get out.

But how do you get this mindset of I need to get out when that's all you're surrounded by?

It would have been much easier to do it that way, I'm sure.

Yeah, but these are still your real lived experiences.

Yeah.

And all I'm hearing through that is it probably wasn't even the cooking.

That was just where you were channeling this idea of, no, I don't want to marry someone where I'm not on the same page.

No, I don't want to marry someone where I don't have equality.

And at that point, you probably be like, I don't know how to articulate that, but I'm not cooking for someone.

And that's just not happening.
