I somehow let my mom convince me to go to University of Calgary.
Uh I'd been accepted to other schools, but I graduated at 16.
And so she said, you know, at that age, even though I had a scholarship, she said, stay at home, you know, then your room and board is is paid for.
So I did stay, went to University of Calgary, funded.
Funny enough, I moved out on my own in my first semester.
So I really could have and should have gone somewhere else.
But that's where I went to school and then I got relocated right out of university to Toronto.
So Toronto's where I spent a lot of my adult years before I was relocated to the US.
Oh, I did.
I worked throughout all of my university career.
So I've I had never not had one, two, or even three jobs.
So as I said, I had uh moved out on my own.
Um yeah, I was living with a boyfriend at the time, but I bought my first house at nineteen.
So, you know, I continued working in banking.
I also worked at a doctor's office part-time and I was an actor um on call doing some stage work, but some some commercials and things like that.
So I did all
all of those things while going to school full time.
Back then I think I only needed four four or five hours.
Uh to you know, today is significantly more, although it's much more interrupted than it was at twenty.
Yeah, my my children when I talk to them about, you know, the uh you know, because they often like to come to Mum for money when they need it and I'm like, Well, why don't you pick up an extra job?
