The second group is for people who really are managing on or below the poverty line.
And this is really not their fault.
So it's people on Centrelink, people leaving a violent relationship, people waiting for an insurance payout and they're not able to work.
So it's usually more a case of making do with what you have, possibly over a more long term scenario.
It's really difficult for people to get out of that cycle.
And normally we are just supporting them to do their best.
I wouldn't say that there's any way you can kind of stop yourself from being in that situation.
It's just ask for help as soon as you can.
if you find yourself in that situation.
And then the third category, which is really where so much growth happens for people, is for people who are in front of us because of a problem that's come about because of a lack of skills or a lack of confidence.
So people on wages who have issues with spending, credit cards, personal loans, buy now, pay later, and they've either got in over their head or
and or they're not sure how to budget.
They've never done a budget before.
And it's really, this is a really beautiful group of clients because they often develop their skills and come through the other side and break the cycle.
And if you have any listeners that are kind of thinking to themselves, oh, that's my category, I would really, you know, the fact that you're even listening to this podcast is a great start.
I would be looking at, all right, what are the different budgeting techniques?
What do I find that works for me?
What am I doing to kind of, am I getting general counselling support?
Am I working through what's driving that spending behaviour?
Or am I following, you know, Instagram accounts, newsletters, those kind of services that are helping me to build those skills without me having to say too much about what's going on?
