The first thing that Paul says about how he was with these people is in chapter two.

And he says he was gentle among them.

And this is where when I first read this, this is where I was like, oh, my gosh.

He's this is how we should be raising our kids.

So it says like a nursing mother taking care of her own children.

He literally reaches for mothers to describe it because moms play such a significant role.

And then he says something I can't get over.

He says they become so dear to him that he was glad to share with them not only the good news of God, but his own self, his own life.
