The president yesterday in a conversation with Politico said, that's bad.

issuing a stark warning to ken paxton in an interview with politico the president uh of course did say that he's going to be making his decision pretty soon and then when told that paxton had just told us the news that he's not dropping out even if trump endorses cornyn the president responded well that's bad for him to say that is bad for him so maybe maybe that leads me to go the other direction
suggesting that perhaps Paxton's remarks are pushing him in the direction of Cornyn.
