You're going to be in the line with these legendary defensive tackles that came out of the University of Miami, you know.
And once I saw it like that, I was all in, you know.
And that's how I started becoming a defensive tackle my second year in high school.
And I never looked back from them.
A lot of people don't understand is when I got to New England, I had to learn how to be a nose tackle.
I didn't.
I had no clue.
I hired a two-gap.
I hired a nose tackle.
So that was a whole new position.
That's crazy.
And I had to learn that.
You had to learn it in the pros.
I had to learn it in the pros.
So when I got drafted into New England and...
I got drafted.
They did.
They just got rid of probably the best nose tackle ever with Ted Washington.
