I think you go back and there are just so many great finishes and great games that you can count.

uh, you know, you can probably make a whole a whole day's worth of talk radio trying to figure out which what are the best cross down games ever.

And it you know, it's funny I was talking with Polly yesterday and saying, you know, the guys in the room don't really get

super hyped for this, the players because they're not from Chicago, right?

The v the vast majority of them didn't grow up here.

But those of us who did, like this is the series every summer that you circle on the regular season calendar and it has had those games

that like a rivalry is defined by, right?

All the certainly the on field uh uh dramatic uh uh uh you know fights with with Michael Barrett and A.J.

Przezinski, you had Ozzy kicking Giovanni Soto's mask, all of that stuff to go along with walk off home runs aplenty and dueling no hit bids and all of that stuff.

So I mean while it doesn't seem like a rivalry 'cause they're not even in the same league when you think about it that way, it totally does

to the fans because of all that's happened and this year

with the Caro walk off earlier in the year, with PCA doing what he did and Bregman's walk offs this week, uh yeah, I think you gotta count this whole series, the whole six games as probably the best ever.

Absolutely.

I mean I think uh y y you look at where they stand and what's ahead of them.

And you know, you've got the Cubs who are one of the best teams in baseball, y you know, kind of just based on their win loss record.

They look like one of the top contenders, uh depending on how far you want to go down that list for the World Series, and yet they're still

stuck in second place in their own division, right?

While you got the White Sox in first place where everything uh you know, for lack of a better term, is kinda gravy right now with how the the expectations weren't so high for them at the beginning of the season.
