I mean, this does seem to happen every year to a degree, not to this degree, though.

And I think that, you know, all of these kind of piling up at once.

Yeah, I think the Cubs are, you know, trying to approach things with a mindset of keep moving forward, the whole next man up cliche and all of that.

But you're even seeing them kind of think, man, this is just kind of an overwhelming amount a little bit here, especially lately.

I mean, I think, you know, having the pitching staff set up, I mean, your questions about Matthew Boyd are important for what he's able to contribute in the immediate future in terms of how long he's going to go today, but also who gets used out of that bullpen and who else are the options that Craig Council turns to today if he does need some more innings after Bullpen.

Boyd exits the game today because that is going to affect what he's going to be able to do tomorrow in Milwaukee, Saturday in Milwaukee, Sunday in Milwaukee.

So it's not, hey, how long can Matthew Boyd go because Boyd needs to be back right away?

Finally, the rain went away here in New York.

Yeah, I mean, very much like the story of the whole season, it's been kind of up and down during this stretch, right, during this month.

I mean, it started off kind of poor.

They lost series to, you know, the A's, to the Giants, to the Rockies, but then they kind of found their footing a little bit and they've won some series in a row here.

Certainly the Mets are making them look really good the last few days, but that's what you got to do, right?
