The bullpen has been okay statistically.
I think the numbers are not too far off from where
from where it was last year when we were talking about how great some of those guys in the bullpen were competing a year ago.
But certainly you're right.
With the closer on the IL right now, it's going to be kind of a bumpy ride maybe to try to get all 27 outs in a game.
And Webb is one of those guys, but I don't think he's the guy.
I think you're going to be seeing a host of options.
Yeah, and a doubleheader is a unique situation too, right?
Because you've got to spread those guys out over the course of two games in the same day.
So you're not necessarily throwing all your bullets in both of those games.
But yeah, they're going to be looking at those matchups for sure.
They're going to be looking at who's available, who's rested.
It's so easy when you've got a
go too closer to say, all right, the ninth inning, that's who it belongs to.
But when he gets yanked out of that, and again, yet another pitching injury, right?
When he gets yanked out of that routine, you have to lean on other options.
And I'm definitely meaning plural options in that situation to just try to secure a win the best you can.
You know, in terms of the results, I mentioned this to Craig Council last night, and he said, you know, sending the ball to right field, you know, going the other way with it is really, you know, a good sign for Nico.
He hit those doubles hard last night.
