And everybody knows, and it's important to understand, that of the thirteen games, whoever wins that season series does get the tiebreaker.

So really an eight game lead right now, currently, if you have the tiebreaker, it would be be essentially a nine game lead, right?

Because

Any kind of tie would mean that you actually lose the division.

So I think it's important if the Brewers can win.

the f the just the three of the seven games here against the Chicago Cubs.

They would actually drop a game in the standings.

But they would actually have the tiebreaker at that point, right?

Because that would mean that they would win seven of the 13 total head-to-head head matchups against the Cubs.

I I don't think anybody on that team or in the clubhouse or in the dugout or Pat Murphy is thinking that way.

Probably the front office is kind of looking at at that and saying, okay, if we take three out of the seven remaining games with the Cubs, we actually will still maintain an eight-game lead on the Cubs.

Obviously, there's a C.

Series against the Reds in there.

So that could change things as well.

But that's going to be an important number for the Brewers to get.

And it would be really difficult for the Chicago Cubs to overcome that kind of deficit with so few games left, 25 games left.

And again, we'll see where it where it ends up at at after 10.

But I will say this: if the Cubs win five of the next seven games against the Brewers, that is going to make things very, very

interesting uh because what would they they would pick up three games and now that would be a five game lead which would essentially be a four game lead right because of the tiebreaker so that's gonna be something to look for uh during this seven games these next seven games the next ten days

I think he can.
