I went on five dates with this guy at the end of last year and it became apparent quite quickly that we were in different life phases.

I am a young professional.

I love what I do.

I have a lovely home life and I'm pretty steady Eddie.

He, on the other hand, had a fair bit of changeability going on in his life.

He was questioning his career and he had a lot of stuff that he was wanting to work on

with himself and on our last date he point blank asked me oh so I've told you all this stuff about me what are your flaws I was like I ain't got none no I didn't say that but it really highlighted to me that he was feeling insecure about where he was at in life versus where I'm at and

I was trying to actively find something wrong with me to make him feel better about himself and to try and level the playing field.
