Usually the positive versions of that usually die out, but every so often enough of it happens in the same place at the same time that it propagates forward and then out competes.
And I think a a really interesting lesson, which I go to more I will in my next book than in this one, is
these kinds of sort of mathematical models of understanding our interpersonal interactions.
A really cool one I'm working on right now.
For a theory paper, which then I will subsequently write up for some sort of an op-ed, is maybe one of the reasons humans
are interestingly smart collectively compared to AIs, is AIs are themselves an average of collective intelligence.
Whereas we are a collective of a whole bunch of weird long tail
You know, sort of non ergotic.
Trajectories in information space.
A horrible way to describe a human being, but we are these things.
And by not seeing everything.
And having our own highly idiosyncratic understandings of the world.
We as individuals
are not as intelligent in some ways
as the bleeding edge of agentic models.
But we are
As collections.
Are more intelligent.
when it comes to creativity and innovation.
Uh and then the two together create really nice complementarities.
