Kevin Bacon, zero.

If you're in a movie with Kevin Bacon, you're one.

If you're in a movie with someone that was in a movie with Kevin Bacon, you're two.

So there's an Erdős number as well.

Paul Erdős is zero.

If you've published a paper with him, it's one.

There's also an Erdős Bacon number, which is you add the two.

That would have been inconceivable five years ago.

That's amazing.
