The UN's top human rights official Volker Turk says the killing on the streets of Iran may have subsided, but as he puts it, the brutality continues.

He said he's alarmed by the mixed messages coming from Iran about their fate.

President Trump has said that Iran promised him that they would not execute prisoners, but senior Iranian judicial authorities say otherwise.
