depending on what you talk to, you're going to hear a million different definitions, is its ability to learn something new from scratch.
It's like basically being able to top domains.
And right now, I think what he would say is what's happening in LLMs is that it's trained on a set of stuff and then it's effectively pattern matching on top of that.
And I think there's some truth to that.
But the reality is bigger models, like cheaper, multimodal, the commercial value, the useful utility of automation has grown immensely.
And I think that's where Zapier is playing most right now is like, how do we actually help people just build more useful automation inside their workplace?
And on that dimension, compared to where we were
18 months ago, it's like night and day difference.
Like working with unstructured data was nearly impossible.
I remember we built an email parser.
It's been years ago.
And that thing was like the bane of our existence.
People wanted that thing to do so much, but the current state of the art email parsing tech was just not good enough.
Now you can just do a basic prompt and it's better than any parsing engine that you would use two, three years ago.
So yeah, the progress is incredible here.
