I actually had a question related to something you guys were talking about earlier about what kind of, you know, between the AWA and the WWF, kind of what draws people into wrestling.
And I was wondering what ended up getting both of you guys into wrestling initially.
Good question.
It's probably somewhat similar because we're both from the same part of the country and basically the same age.
uh... jayton you want at the first yeah i would you know i just caught a w a i i can still remember i was at a hockey tournament somewhere in minnesota and i was at the hotel in
stumbled upon AWA Wrestling and was pretty much hooked, and that kind of grew to world class when we started getting that in the area.
And then UA, one of the UA, we didn't have cable at my household because we lived too far out of town at the time, as crazy as that sounds today.
And so my only exposure to WCW initially was in the forum.
On the Internet.
It was on the Internet, on YouTube.
Yeah, you know, I'd like to say that, but I'll just date myself and admit that it was a pair of rabbit ears antenna.
And I'd have to put aluminum foil on the antenna and get the late night worldwide show.
I think it was like Sunday night out of Duluth, I want to say.
I think St.
Cloud, but you might have gotten the Duluth feed of.
Yeah, I can't even remember which one.
And then WWE, WWF at the time, started airing here.
And after magazines, all the good stuff.
And I think pretty much anybody that came up a fan in the 80s, no matter where they lived, probably had a similar experience.
