Well, what was stopping them from beating the hell out of Cena when he was not employed by the company?

The whole thing, it started so strong, it was like a Vince Russo booking job.

Because Russo comes up with some good ideas, but he never knows how to execute them properly from start to finish.

And that's what this felt like.

It's just not a good storyline.

And it's a shame because going into Survivor Series, I thought they did an excellent job.

I wasn't crazy about what they did at Survivor Series, but I thought the next night with that emotional promo that Cena delivered, it was back on track.

But it's been all downhill since then.

And I can kind of understand if they made the choice, if they decided to make the choice at one point, do we want Cena gone so we can draw –

when he gets reinstated, we want to draw money with that.

And so let's take him off TV.

Or are we so scared to take him off TV, especially in the midst of USA Network trying to scratch and claw their way to number one for this quarter?

They're already going to be number one for the year, and they already frantically set out a press release because their streak of being the number one network quarterly might come to an end.

So I'm wondering if they weren't conflicted.

I'm wondering if internally there wasn't an issue of,

Do we keep Cena on TV because we can't afford to lose Cena fans?

And we don't know if we will or not, but I don't know that we can take that chance.

And did they consciously almost sacrifice the first rematch or the first match between Cena and Barrett after Cena's firing?

I wonder if they're not aware of our criticism.

I don't think they're oblivious to it.
