I thought Wendy's were always usually
okay we're looking for different food options because we hadn't really eaten we got to the hotel and our hotel was weird like it was it was fine there's nothing bad about it but it felt like the truman show if they were starting to take the set apart while truman was being filmed there you'd go in you'd check in at the lobby and then you'd go you know one hallway leads to the
elevators, other hallways, rooms.
And we get up to our room.
We're dropping stuff off.
We're texting our friends that are also at the same hotel.
They're like, where are you guys at?
They're like, oh, we're in the courtyard.
We're like, courtyard?
This hotel has a courtyard?
By Marriott?
They're like, we're in the courtyard.
We're like, okay, well, I guess we'll find the courtyard.
So we drop our stuff off
Unbeknownst to me, Molly texts our friends our room number, so I open the door to go to the courtyard, and one of our friends is just there and scares the absolute shit out of me because they're standing outside the door as I open it.
But they lead us to the courtyard, and the courtyard is literally a really nice green area with trees and, like, a wooden deck, a gazebo.
People's rooms have balconies and, like, walkways facing out into the courtyard where you can just hang out and look out into the courtyard.
This is just a hotel, mind you, like a normal hotel.
The thing that's weird about it is the ceiling is just stark black metal warehouse ceiling with like little metal hangs and like what looks like filming lights just hanging down pointing at the courtyard.
