the idea of American imperialism, and specifically in this case, the arming of Israel.

And so their argument is that this company or this organization is contributing to what they call the accelerated genocide of against the Palestinian people.

The thing about the way they frame this though is that they don't just say we're doing this because we want to stop the manufacturing.

They say they are doing it because they also want to send a message that this is addressed to people who are complicit in the manufacturing of these weapons.

And so

If if we believe that the video is a fair representation of the motivations of of what happens, this attack is not merely instrumental.

It's not we're disabling a machine so that you can't build a component that will then end up in a fighter jet, which would still involve criminal activity if it involved trespass and, you know, damage to property and all those sorts of things.

But but the point is, it's not just saying that, it's also saying this is a warning.

was a clear and serious threat to those who continue making weapons.

And so there are two things going on here.

There is the alleged attack itself and then there is the messaging dimension of that particular attack.

And that's a really important thing to keep in mind.

Yeah, yeah.

So you can see the intent here.

You s you see the idea of trying to create a broader political movement, create a a broader environment of threat and let's call it disincentive for those who are involved in this sort of thing.

It is the first one to be investigated as a a far left terrorism attack.

But we should keep in mind with that that that terrorism offences are actually quite new in Australia.

So it's not necessarily the first action of this kind that we've seen from the far left.

Uh ASUI was spoken in the past about sort of the late sixties, early seventies, they were investigating some groups.
