The Broncos get to play both of those teams at home in Denver.
The Chiefs have to play both of those teams on the road.
The Chargers have to play both of those teams on the road.
And in fact, the Denver Broncos have rest edges in both of their games against those two teams in the NFC West, whereas that is not the case for the Chiefs and the Chargers.
So I think there's some hidden edges, a couple other aspects of the schedule release that benefit the Denver Broncos and when and how they're going to face up against those opponents.
But I 100% agree.
I do not think the Kansas City Chiefs are this, you know,
Surefire, as long as Mahomes is back, punch their ticket.
There are a lot of issues with this team.
Specifically, they were built around that connection with Mahomes and Travis Kelsey.
That was the engine of their passing attack for so many years.
That fell off massively from what had been like a top five passing efficiency
Chiefs quarterbacks to Chiefs tight ends in the entire NFL for years down all the way to below 20th last season in terms of efficiency.
They were not on the same page nearly as often as they have been in the past.
Maybe it's Kelsey getting older.
Maybe it's other things that Mahomes was looking for, but they're going to have to get back on track.
Yes, they didn't.
increase their efficiency on the ground, adding Kenneth Walker, that explosion and that efficiency after contact is definitely going to help because they were 30th or worse the last two years in yards after contact per rush attempt, the Kansas City Chiefs.
That is absolutely going to help, but I don't know that that alone is going to get them there.
